Questions about the A1 Plotting Paper Roll
About 53 A1 sheets (594 x 841 mm) from a 45.72 m roll, before allowing for trimming and test prints. A box holds four rolls, so one box gives roughly 210 A1 drawings.
Yes. The roll has a standard 2-inch core, which loads on the spindle of HP DesignJet, Canon imagePROGRAF TM and Epson SureColor T plotters 24 inches (610 mm) wide or more. At 594 mm wide it is just under the 610 mm maximum of a 24-inch plotter.
Yes, for drawings with colour lines and simple fills. For bright colour renders and posters, 120 gsm coated paper gives stronger colour, smoother fills and less show-through than 80 gsm plotting paper.
Keep rolls in their wrapping and box until you use them, in a cool, dry room away from sunlight and air-conditioner drips. Humidity makes paper curl, which causes jams and smudged lines, so wrap part-used rolls again after use and use older stock first.
