The HP DesignJet T120, T125, T130, T520 and T530, with the HP 711 printhead. The newer T250 and T650 use HP 712 ink instead, and the cartridges cannot be swapped between the two families.

Cartridges with the newer part numbers, such as the 80 ml 711B black (3WX01A), need a printer firmware update first. Update once from HP's DesignJet firmware page at hp.com/go/designjet/firmwareupdate; after that the printer accepts both the old and the new part numbers.

Yes. Black, cyan, magenta and yellow are separate cartridges, so you only replace the colour that runs out. Black is the 80 ml size because it does most of the work on CAD line drawings; the colours are 29 ml.

Original HP cartridges are covered until the ink runs out or the warranty-end date printed on the cartridge, whichever comes first. HP's printer warranty does not cover damage or repairs caused by non-HP, refilled or expired cartridges, so genuine ink also protects the printhead and the plotter itself.
