The HP DesignJet T730 and the HP DesignJet T830 multifunction printer, in 24-inch and 36-inch versions, with the HP 729 printhead. The newer T850 and T950 use HP 738 ink instead. HP has discontinued the T730, but we continue to supply HP 728 ink for existing users.

Yes. A 300 ml cartridge holds 2.3 times the ink of a 130 ml cartridge for about twice the price, so it costs less per ml and needs changing less often. Matte black does most of the work on CAD line drawings, so it is the colour worth buying in the large size.

Original HP cartridges are covered until the ink runs out or the warranty-end date printed on the cartridge, whichever comes first. HP's printer warranty does not cover damage or repairs caused by non-HP, refilled or expired cartridges, so genuine ink also protects the printhead and the plotter itself.

Yes. Matte black, cyan, magenta and yellow are separate cartridges, so you only replace the colour that runs out. We stock the 300 ml matte black and the 130 ml cyan, magenta and yellow.
