Questions about the HP DesignJet Z6 PostScript
Colour-critical posters, architectural renders, GIS maps and photo prints. Its six pigment inks include chromatic red, and HP dual-drop printheads with HP Pixel Control give smooth tones without light inks. The Adobe PDF Print Engine and 128 GB of processing memory handle large, complex files.
Photo paper, fine-art media, self-adhesive vinyl, banner and sign media, bond and coated paper, and backlit film, from 80 to 500 g/m². Dual-roll versions keep two media loaded and switch automatically, and an integrated vertical trimmer is available as an option.
The Z6 uses six inks and is the faster, lower-cost choice for posters, renders and maps, up to 80.5 m² an hour in fast mode on plain media. The Z9+ uses nine inks, adding chromatic green, blue and grey, plus an optional gloss enhancer, for gallery-grade photos and fine art.
