HP DesignJet T850 36in Printer Overview
The HP DesignJet T850 is a 36-inch (A0) plotter for architecture, engineering and construction offices. It prints an A1 drawing in about 25 seconds (90 A1 per hour) with HP Flex Tech pigment inks that resist water, smudging and highlighter bleed, so drawings survive site use. High-capacity 130/300 ml cartridges reduce ink changes.

Questions about the HP DesignJet T850 36in
Are HP DesignJet T850 prints waterproof?
They are highly water-resistant. HP Flex Tech pigment inks give strong water and light fastness and resist smudging and highlighter bleed, which is why the T850 suits drawings used on construction sites.
Which ink and printhead does the T850 use?
HP 738 ink cartridges (130 ml or 300 ml) and the HP 739 printhead. DPI stocks both.
T850 or T950?
Both print A0 with the same inks. The T950 is faster (about 21 seconds per A1, 120 A1 per hour) and has a 100-sheet input tray, sheet organiser and stacker for busy multi-user offices. The T850 suits most small and mid-size teams.
What warranty does the T850 have?
A one-year limited hardware warranty from HP. You can extend it with an HP Care Pack; ask DPI for options.
